Toilet-Ek Prem Katha is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Shree Narayan Singh. The film features Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles and actor Anupam Kher and Sana Khan will be also seen in pivotal roles. The film is co-produced by Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey.
The movie is the talk of the town since the day of its inception. It was rumoured that it was based on PM Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’, but the makers clarifies that the writers Siddharth and Garima wrote this in 2013 and Modi become Prime Minister in 2014.
But indeed the film supports Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Campaign. The makers of the film keep on sharing pictures while they were filming, even Akshay shared many videos and pictures through-out the shoot. A few days back the makers released its poster and then began the countdown (the trend followed by many makers these days to release trailer) till they release the official trailer on June 11.

The three-minutes-long trailer of Toilet- Ek Prem Katha stars with Akshay who wants to get married, he was Manglik so first he got married to a buffalo due to a superstitious belief of the village.
Then he gets married to a girl, played by Bhumi Pednekar, who leaves him after knowing that he doesn’t have a toilet in the house and people litter in open. Akshay then takes to himself to ensure that his entire village gets toilets.
