The recent trailer of the film claims, be ready to witness a black chapter of Indian history. The story shows the general public who for no fault of theirs were made to suffer. The story is about a woman who suffers and then decides to raise her voice against the system.
The woman, played by Kriti Kulhari, showed a shy, stammering and under confident girl who later came up stronger to fight the system. Her strong screen presence and dialogues remind us of her performance of ‘Pink’, as she says, “Arjun, ke iraade hil sakte hain, ghyal Draupadi ke nahi.” This is only one, there are several splendid dialogues in the two-and-a-half minute trailer which might shake you from within.
The film and facts are inspired by true events, which raise the excitement level of yours. Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh has stepped into the shoes of late politician Sanjay Gandhi quite well and we hear him say, “Emergency mein emotion nahi mere orders chalte hain.”
Supriya Vinod plays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film. Indu Sarkar will hit the silver screen on July 28.
