Sanju : Review by Dr. Renuka

Hey Friends, lemme begin my movie Review with a question… who all are Sanju baba aka Sanjay Dutt’s fans and are interested to know about him. Well here I Renuka bring the movie talk of today’s release Sanju, which is biopic of Sanjay Dutt.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film starrs Ranbir Kapoor as SANJAY Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Legendary Sunit Dutt, Manisha Koirala As Nargis Dutt, Dia Mirza as Manyata, anushka sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Jim Sarbh and Sonam Kapoor.
This movie has been directed well and it spills the beans of many undisclosed chapters of Sanjay Dutt’s life. This movie is an eye opener to many Rumours and false beliefs about his life and character.
Raj kumar Hirani is master of putting emotions to relationships. He has beautifully shown the relationships through two sides of a coin… one – between a son and his dad that is Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Dutt & the other between two friends. Through this film Hirani has thrown the message that in every relation there has to be a relation of friendship which is superior of all.
In Biopics the screenplay plays a major role and Sanju’s screenplay has done justice with the movie. The cinematography by Ravi Verman is also awesome, he has very tactfully captured the scenes in the jail.
Talking about the performances Ranbir kapoor has portrayed Sanjay Dutt tremendously well. He must have worked really hard for this role and has given dazzling performance. Vicky Kaushal has emerged as a noticeable face in Bollywood, after his serious and terrific performance in the movie RAAZI, he has delivered power packed performance. Some of his scenes have given goosebumps. Paresh Rawan is shining in the role of Sunil Dutt, he has lived this character very well. Rest all the characters have also performed well.
The movie has come out very nicely and do watch it to know the reality of terrorism in Sanjay Dutt’s life. 3 cheers to Ranbir Kapoor for his efforts ! He has fully imbibed Sanjay Dutt’s character and for a moment you forget that he is Ranbir Kapoor.
I won’t be able to rate this film , but can only tell that it is a very interesting story! Go and watch it. I would specifically recommend all the teenagers to watch it as there is so much to learn from it.. like effects of being drug addicts, or output of the bad company of friends, or being in influence of alcohol. Overall this movie is fantastic & full of emotions-love, anger, hatred and passion.
