Today Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Phillauri’ has been released at the box-office. Anushka Sharma also produced this movie, written by Anvita Dutt and directed by Anshai Lal. Apart from Anushka, the movie features Diljit Dosanjh, Sooraj Sharma, and Mahreen Pirzada.
The plot of the story is like this, Kanna family asked him to return back from Canada to marry his childhood friend. But when the family priest was matching the horoscope, they found ‘Mangalik Dosh’ Kanna’s horoscope or Kundali. Then their family priest tells them the solution, he has to marry a tree to wave-off Mangalik Dosh.
But after getting married to a tree, Shashi aka Anushka Sharma falls behind Kanna in the form of a ghost. Now how Kanna will get rid of the ghost, to know this you need to watch the movie because I am here to review the film not to tell you the story.
Now let’s see the movie from my perspective. The plot of the film is really good, the role that has been written beautifully about the characters but the screenplay and direction were very week due to which the movie drags, become lengthy and seems boring.
If we talk about actors performance, everyone did a great job but Mehreen Pirazada’s face looks different in some scenes. In some scenes, she looks extremely beautiful and in few, she looked older than her age.
Music and songs could have been a very important contribution to the film because in the film they showed the importance of the music. They tried to show some creative angle in cinematography, which are not at all appealing. Overall my rating for this movie is 1.5 out of 5.
