Haseena Parkar is an upcoming biographical crime film, which was initially named ‘Haseena: Queen Of Mumbai’. The film by Apoorva Lakhia features Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, and Ankur Bhatia.
A couple of weeks back the makers of the film released its teaser which failed to impress the audience and today they finally launched the trailer. In the film, Shraddha shed her girl next door image and done a grey avatar.
In the two-minutes-eight-second long video, she looks fiery and convincing in her grey avatar as the underworld Aapa. Shraddha took to twitter and share the trailer and wrote, “Very excited and nervous to share the trailer of #HaseenaParkar Hope you all like it.”
The trailer takes you through the journey of Haseena from being a sister of Dawood to becoming a gangster herself. A woman who has lived a normal family life before her husband gunned down, which provoked her to step up and be a part of ‘D-Company’ and eventually become the ‘Godmother’ and everyone’s ‘Aapa’.
The plot of the film revolves around Haseena Parkar (Shraddha) commonly known as ‘Aapa’, who is the sister underworld don Dawood Ibrahim (Ibrahim). The film is based on true story of Haseena and the movie showcased her journey from a young girl to a mother of four to the Godmother of Nagpada across four decades.
Haseena Parkar is slated to release on August 18, will face clash at the box office with ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’.
