The actress Sanjeeda Sheikh who’s popularly known for her debut film, Love Ka Hai Intezaar has reportedly found in legal trouble. The actress’s 22 year old sister-in-law Zakerabanu Zakir Hussain Bagban has filed a domestic violence case against her brother Anas Abdul Rahim Sheikh, her and their mother, Anisha Sheikh.
According to the reports, “Zakerbanu has alleged that she was having a conversation with her father over the phone on May 27, when three of them yelled and beat her up saying that they didn’t want her in their Mumbai home anymore. She reportedly left the house on the same day for her parent’s place in Ahmedabad and was admitted to a local hospital in Sarkhej Roza. Furthermore, reports indicate that she got discharged on May 29, following which she lodged a FIR at the nearest police station.”
“They often demanded money from my father and would beat me up. My husband is alcoholic, a drug addict and is also involved in match-fixing,” Zakera told the leading tabloid.”
“It was the final straw when Anas raised his hand on me in the presence of my mother and sister in their Mumbai home. I was hospitalised after that in Ahmedabad. I was told at the time of our marriage that he is in the construction business but he is mostly home,” she said, adding that her in-laws haven’t contacted her.
Thereafter, Sanjeeda’s lawyers filed a petition pursuing to rescind her sister-in-law’s FIR which counter-accused that Zakerbanu had a very disturbed relationship with her father due to this she affected her relationship with her husband.
Zakerbanu used to work at a makeup institute which she quit to leave for her maternal home. Consequently, Anas is making difficult for her to adjust in her marital home.
According to the reports, “Sanjeeda Sheikh was given an interim relief on August 30, when Ahmedabad Family Court waived the service of the notice.”
An interim hearing is reportedly expected soon.
