Star Plus’s New Way To Celebrate Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is celebrated worldwide on the second Sunday of May. And this year Star Plus teach you how to celebrate Mother’s Day in a new way. In the recently launched promo on the occasion of Mother’s Day, the makers of the promo will leave you with few questions at the end.

Questions about our upbringing, so are we bring up our boys right? Do we tell them to share the household chores? Do we tell them how to be responsible and sensitive partners? Do we tell them to respect women? etc and etc.

The video is an attempt to taking ahead of the mantle of the channel’s tagline ‘Nayi Soch’. Star Plus has come up with an initiative to draw direct attention to these questions and also salutes mothers for being the champions of change.

A child’s first teacher is his/her mother and a mother’s examples become permanent images, which shape their attitudes and actions for the rest of their life. A mother can bring up their son(s) in a right way and it happens, if the right kind of thinking, values and moral is passed on to them since childhood.

And these values they pick up subconsciously and sometimes consciously and as a result they turn out to be sensitive, responsible and well-mannered men. With this thought, a mother is taking an initiative towards building positive role models to create a better society, devoid of stereotypes, and thus being a mother of a ‘Nayi Soch’.
