It is a billing application that is used by businesses to bill their customers digitally.
POS is a machine that can be installed anywhere wherein the software ‘QueueBuster’ is used. All the payments can be done using it. Varun tells that his product ‘QueueBuster’, not only can be used for digital payments but it can also be used as a single platform for both customer relationship management and Inventory management. It can generate various Sales reports also that help an entrepreneur or businessman to analyze the performance of one’s business.
Varun is a DCE graduate and worked for Samsung for a few years. However, he always wanted to do something of his own. His friend circle was also very enterprising from his college days itself. Varun reveals that he comes from a family background where all are doing jobs or working in banks.
Initially, Varun faced lots of challenges because of lack of business knowledge. He started with zero capital. He also told that finding the right customers also was a cumbersome task for him in the beginning. Building teams during the initial phase of business was also difficult. But he never lost faith and continued positively with high energies.
Varun sought the support of his brother, cousins, and friends to start the business. When they began they started as service providers who created the softwares for various companies. After some time he thought to come up with his own software, which he could sell to the companies. In the beginning few softwares did not do well and could not be sold in the market. Arranging finance to run the business became a major challenge for him. But gradually, the hard work resulted in fruits and they started growing.
As some valuable tips Varun Tangri advises to the young budding entrepreneurs to keep one’s originality and not to copy somebody. The new startups should not make hasty decisions, they should wait and study the flow of the market.
Varun Tangri also shares his future goals. He wants to grow both turnover wise and team-size wise 4-5 times in the next two years.
Varun is a perfect example of Make in –India and Digital India, wherein he is aiming to digitize, improvise and simplify the work of all businessmen and shopkeepers by his products.
