A day before late actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s BFF Kamya Punjabi reveals that she will going to release Pratyusha’s last short film, which she shot a month and a half before coming suicide, on her first death anniversary on April 1. And today she releases the promo of the same.
Kamya Punjabi, know to be Pratyusha’s best friend will pay her a tribute through a short film. The Promo divulges shocking details of the late actress’s relationship with her boyfriend. The film titled ‘Hum Kuchh Keh Naa Sakey’, will release online in the memory of 23-years-old actress.
It was probably Pratyusha’s last project for which she faced the camera for the last time before hanging herself in her Oshiwara home on April 1, 2016. Kamya Punjabi shared the promo on her Instagram account and wrote.

The film was shot one-and-a-half months before her suicide and bears an uncanny resemblance to her real life. The subject of this short film is about love, relationship, heartbreak, depression, which were allegedly the reasons behind her big step.
There one more thing to add to the list of coincidences, Pratyusha’s beau on screen is called Rahul, much like her real-life boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh. On it, actress Kamya Punjabi reveals, “It was Pratyusha’s decision to name the character Rahul”.
On it, Kamya said, “Though a work of fiction, it will seem quite similar to what Pratyusha must have gone through. She will be seen heartbroken, resorting to vices like drinking and smoking. As a narrator, I will interlink her reel and real lives, and question viewers on why people change in love and choose to remain silent sufferers. Pratyusha didn’t use glycerin while shooting the emotional scenes. I too was nursing a heartbreak at that time.”
“I wish we had spoken about our problems. I felt helpless watching the film. We couldn’t shoot the climax as she ended her life before that,” added Kamya. The actress is yet to recover from her friend’s untimely death and says that she regrets not having taken out time to talk to Pratyusha.
