After the fallout between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover and other co-stars, we hear that Bollywood celebs are not willing to come on the show. According to a report, comedian/actor Kapil Sharma has to cancel his shoot this Wednesday as nobody arrived on the set to shoot the next episode.
Even when stand-up comedians and Kapil’s good friends Ahsaan Qureshi, Sunil Pal and Raju Shrivastav come out in support of Kapil in his tough time, were also asked to return home as there was no celebrity guest.
It is obvious, why would any B-town celeb come on a show where the team itself is not in place. Not only this, Kapil is also facing issues with the channel Sony TV, as he had promised a certain number of episode and now he is unable to predict the fate of the show after his unexpected fight with Sunil Grover.
The show is up for renewal next month with insiders saying it’d be a Rs 106 crore deal. And after the whole incident, the channel is not too happy about it and is apparently considering pulling the plug on its top-rated programme.
“Kapil has had to cancel shoots as he couldn’t get big celebs as guests. He has, in fact, left for Bikaner to shoot for his film, Phirangi, and will return to Mumbai on March 29,” said a source. Even they told that Sunil Grover won’t return to the show even if given a big pay hike.
It is very saddening that once known as the ‘comedy king’ is on the way of self-destruction. Let’s see what gonna happen next to Kapil Sharma and everyone’s favourite The Kapil Sharma Show.
