Arshad Warsi starrer Jolly LLB’s sequel Jolly LLB2 released today. In lead role we see Akshay Kumar as Jagdishwar Mishra (Jolly), Huma Qureshi as Pushpa Pandey, Anu Kapoor as Advocate Mathur and Saurabh Shukla as Justice Tripathi.
The plot of the film is same as the previous film, a helpless girl named Hina whose husband was killed by police in fake encounter and then she approached many lawyers for justice. But no one took her case and at the end she commit suicide. Then Jolly (Akshay Kumar) takes her case to get her justice because somewhere he considers himself responsible for her suicide.
What was the reason behind Hina’s husband fake encounter? Why Jolly considers himself responsible for Hina’s suicide? Will Jolly aka advocate Jagdishwer Mishra be able to get justice for Hina and will he manage to get the police arrested who were involved in fake encounter and get them punished?
To know all this you have to watch the movie because I am here to review it not to tell you the story. Now let’s see the movie from my perspective. Plot of the film was good but the screenplay was very week. Direction of the movie was also week due to which the film looks bit lengthy. They tried to create thrill but failed doing so. In the courtroom Anu Kapoor was overpowering Akshay Kumar and its direct blame goes to the script.
Akshay got the week part of the script. He was unnecessarily forced to overreact and made him cry in the court, which was not understandable. If we talk in terms of acting, everyone did a great job and the music of the film was not that good. Overall it’s a one-time watch movie and I will give 2.5 stars out of 5.
Hope you liked my review and will be back soon next week with another movie review, till then take care and don’t forget to like, share, comment and subscribe to my channel.
