Veeram is an upcoming Indian epic historical drama film, written by Jayaraj. The movie is an adaption of William Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth, and is also the fifth installment in Jayaraj’s Navarasa series. The trailer of the upcoming movie Veeram looks appealing.
But the same got more attention when Mr. Perfectionist gave compliment himself, what else do you need as a validation that the movie is good? Yes, you read it right Aamir Khan took the time to show his appreciation for Kunal Kapoor’s bilingual period piece, Veeram on twitter.
Kunal Kapoor who is playing the lead role in the movie, that is based on Shakespeare’s play Macbeth. The story is about a warrior who is emotionally compromised by the words of his loved one to betray his master. The movie is written and directed by Jayaraj. The story mergeShakespeare work with the ballad of Chnathu Chekavar (that is quite popular in Kerela).
The trailer of the movie was launched by the Kaabil actor of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan, has received quite a lot of appreciation for its visual aesthetics, production design, sound editing, the kalaripayattu scenes and of course, Kunal Kapoor’s look in the movie.
Kunal Kapoor’s astonishing transformation left many of us stunned because the lanky, lean hottie we knew was gone and was replaced by this warrior whose chiseled physique could intimidate you big time. He got a lot of appreciation and now with Aamir Khan himself in the awe of the trailer which gives the makers right kind of attention.

Veeram, produced by Chandramohan D. Pillai and Pradeep Rajan and distributed by Lal Jose under his banner LJ Films, also has Himarsha Venkatsamy as Unniyarcha and Divina Thakur. Veeram is the fifth movie made under Jayaraj’s Navarasa theme of movies, others being Karunam, Shaantam, Bheebatsam, and Adbhutam. The movie is scheduled to release on 24 February 2017 in both Hindi and Malayalam.
